What audio formats do you offer?

We offer our music in a wide range of formats, both physical and digital. On the physical side, you'll find CDs, Super Audio CDs (SACDs), and vinyl. Our SACDs are hybrid discs: they play on any standard CD player, but also contain a high-resolution layer with both stereo and surround sound for SACD-compatible players. On the digital side, we offer hi-res downloads in FLAC, ranging from 88.2 kHz all the way up to 352.8 kHz at 32 bit, which is the resolution of our original studio masters.

What software do you recommend for hi-res playback?

Accepted Answer

Our recommendation is Roon. It offers bit-perfect playback, beautiful metadata handling, and a listening experience that truly does justice to high-resolution audio. If Roon isn't an option, there are excellent alternatives: Audirvana for macOS, jRiver Media Center for Windows, or Foobar2000 if you prefer a free and highly customisable player.

What immersive audio formats do you offer?

We offer three immersive formats: Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D, and DTS:X. Dolby Atmos is object-based and the most widely supported. Auro-3D is channel-based and delivers the highest quality spatial reproduction. DTS:X sits somewhere in between. When purchasing an album, you can choose your preferred immersive format from the format selector on the release page.

Which releases are available in immersive audio?

All of our new releases since around 2020 are available in immersive audio, and we're steadily going back through our catalogue to add select older titles as well.

Question 5

What do I need to play immersive audio at home?

Accepted Answer

The ideal setup would be a 5.1.4 or 7.1.4 speaker arrangement with an AV receiver that supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, or Auro-3D. But modern soundbars with upward-firing drivers do a wonderful job, and headphones with HRTF processing can be remarkably convincing too.

Tell me about your vinyl pressings.

All of our pressings are 180-gram, DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) cut, and flat-profile, meaning the grooves are cut directly from our DXD studio masters. Every step of the mastering is done in-house, and we never allow the pressing plant to apply their own mastering on top.

Do you ship worldwide?

We do! We ship to every country in the world, with the exception of those under international embargo. Delivery times vary: within the Netherlands you can expect your order in three to five business days, elsewhere in the EU in five to ten, and for international orders around ten to fifteen.

Are digital downloads available immediately?

Yes! Digital purchases are available for download the moment your order is confirmed. You can always re-download your purchases from your account.

What is your returns and refund policy?

Accepted Answer

If a physical item arrives damaged, simply send us a photo and we'll ship a replacement right away. Digital purchases are non-refundable in principle, since the files are delivered immediately. That said, if something goes wrong, please reach out and we'll find a fair solution.

Of course! For physical releases, simply enter a different shipping address at checkout. We also offer both digital and physical gift cards.

What is the Optimised Omnidirectional Array?

The Optimised Omnidirectional Array is our proprietary recording technique. It's designed to capture the natural timbre of each instrument, its exact spatial placement in the room, and the finest temporal micro-details that give a live performance its sense of life.

Absolutely, please get in touch with us at info@trptk.com. We handle every licensing request with care, and all licensing requires the explicit approval of the artist involved.

How can I submit my music to TRPTK?

Send us an email at info@trptk.com with your name, a short proposal of what you have in mind, some examples of your music, and any videos if you have them. We only work with title contracts, not artist deals, so you're never locked in.
